Why Diabetes?
Diabetes is a disorder which when strikes triggers a series of complications. Timely measures and preventive steps are the only protection against diabetes. You would be surprised to know that India has the largest concentration of diabetic patients in the world. A widespread lack of information is the root cause for it's epidemic growth.

Diabetic Life offered a host of educational & interactive events to the common man in the form of:
  • A series of elaborate health check-ups aimed at preventive detection / monitoring of diabetic / cardiac problems. The check-up was organised in association with a leading hospital in town.
  • A health exhibition featuring the latest products, devices and services in diabetes and cardiac health management.
  • An interactive lecture session involving face to face interaction of patients/care takers with leading diabetologists, heart specialists, nutritionists, etc.
  • A nutrition-advisory camp which offers helpful dietary advice and tips on various aspect concerning the all-important issue of diet and fitness
  • A health walk aimed at generating public awareness on the need to safeguard people's lives from the growing incidence of diabetes and heart care.
Overwhelming Response
  • Over 60,000 visitors and 25,000 medical check-ups carried out
  • Over 30,000 copies of diabetic education booklets distributed
  • Over 300 medical and Para-medical professionals involved
