Diabetes does not limit itself only to the old age group. It also afflicts newborns, and manifests itself as Type 1 or Juvenile Diabetes. It also presents itself among the youth. The causes are linked to obesity, genetic risk factors, inactivity, unhealthy lifestyle, stress, etc. The list of diabetes and diabetes-related diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular problems, eye diseases, and neuropathies is increasing at an alarming rate. In order to address these pressing health issues, we at HHF have undertaken the mission of fostering public awareness on diabetes and its linked diseases. The need of the hour is to help people prevent further health problems. With this purpose, we frequently conduct various health-related events. Our events comprise of health check-up camps, exhibitions, seminars, nutrition camps, yoga demos, and interactive lecture sessions to name a few. All for diabetics and their caretakers.
